2025/26 Secondary School Communication to Parents – Students at risk of Suspension
The Durham Region Health Department has sent Immunization Notice Packages by mail to students in grade 9 and grade 11 who are not up to date with required vaccines as per the Immunization of School Pupils Act.
Your child was sent an Immunization Notice Package because the Health Department does not have up to date immunization information for your child.
Your child continues to be at risk of suspension, if the Health Department does not receive record of your child’s missed vaccines, by FEBRUARY 11, 2026 (WEDNESDAY). Please report missed vaccines and updates directly to the Health Department by visiting durham.ca/immunize or by calling the school’s immunization nurse 905-668-7711 ext 3789.
